
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 7, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Meijer BB #:104887, in conjunction with its supplier, Revolution Farms, is announcing a voluntary recall of select Fresh From Meijer premade salads because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Listeria monocytogenes can infect young children, elderly, and frail people with weak immune systems. While some symptoms may be temporary in healthy people, such as fever, stiffness and nausea, and even abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection could cause stillbirths or miscarriages among pregnant women.
This recall is part a wider Revolution Farms lettuce recall. The recall includes premade meals sold in Meijer locations across Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Ohio as well as Meijer store locations in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Ohio and Kentucky. Meijer does not know of any illnesses related to the recall.
