Buy Me a Coffee is an online platform for creators that has reacted immediately to a recent report that showed how far-right bloggers were raising money through its platform.

Several influential members of the QAnon community have been banned by the Buy Me a Coffee website, which allows subscribers to make one-off payments or recurring subscriptions to their favorite creators. The platform has also suspended other prominent right-wing online figures, such as those who participated in the January 6, 2011 insurrection in the Capitol.

Buy Me a Coffee made the decision in response a report by Media Matters for America which listed some of the biggest QAnon figures. QAnon, a right-wing conspiracy theorist, believes that Donald Trump was fighting a secret battle against a globalist group of baby-eating human traffickers comprised of Hollywood elites and Trump’s political opponents.
