The White Lotus Star Jennifer Coolidge had an incredible night at Tuesday’s 80th Golden Globe Awards. She won an award and gave two amazing speeches.
Coolidge won the award for best supporting actor in a television series/motion picture for her outstanding performance as Tanya McQuoid, in Mike White’s highly acclaimed HBO series. Coolidge defeated other nominees like The White Lotus co-star, Aubrey Plaza Niecy-Betts (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story), Claire Danes (Fleishman Is in Trouble), and Daisy Edgar-Jones (The Banner of Heaven).

In her heartfelt and hilarious speech, she popped her heavy statuette on the floor — “I can put this down, right? You know what? I don’t work out. What I mean is I can’t hold it that long,” — and reflected on her career, before championing The White Lotus Creator himself (and making him weep).
