Nobody has the exact same immune system. A Bay Area biotech claims it can harness immune diversity in order to treat deadly cancers.

ImmuneBridge is a San Francisco-based startup that develops cancer immunotherapies. It uses natural killers or NK cells to target virus-infected and cancerous cells. Others are already genetically altering these cells and equipping them with molecules that make them more deadly to cancer. But ImmuneBridge is convinced there are naturally occurring NK cells that can do the job — they just might not be the cells currently in your body.
