Monterey, CA — As plant-based and vegetarian meals continue to gain in popularity, world-class athletes are helping to lead the trend by abandoning traditional meat protein-based diets for plant-based ones and touting their benefits for health and athletic performance.

The Power of Plants: How World-Class Athletes are Changing the Way We Eat A special 2-hour educational session at Organic Produce Summit2023 BB#:348436 will examine how athletes have changed to plant-based nutrition and the positive changes they have experienced in their performance and health.

Dotsie Bausch is an American cyclist who won the Olympic gold medal. Dotsie will moderate this session. A star-studded line-up of plant-based advocates will be sharing their stories on how a diet rich and varied in plants can improve athletes’ performance.
