Kerin Adelson (MD) has been appointed chief quality and value officer for The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
In this role, she will help lead medical practice quality improvement efforts and value-based care initiatives to support the institution’s strategy. She will also be responsible for directing initiatives that optimize patient care’s cost and quality, as well as demonstrating value to insurers.
Adelson will also be a faculty member in breast medical-oncology.
