
Florida students are not taking a half-day off Friday in anticipation of the long weekend. They are protesting recent Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, along with state legislators, are limiting school curriculum.
The mass demonstrations at 12 p.m., which are scheduled to occur on more than 300 campuses in Florida, have been organized by Walkout 2 – LearnA network of Florida-based student activists is leading a protest effort in the entire country.
