A survey published in JAMA Network Open found that colorectal-cancer survivors had long-term financial trauma, which was linked to poorer health-related quality-of-life.
Researchers recommended multilevel interventions to both patients and their families in order to reduce financial toxicity and the negative impact it has on quality of living.
