Does ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Have a Podcast? Here’s What We Know

This article contains some spoilers from seasons 1 and 2 of Only Murders in the Building.

Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building recently dropped on Hulu, and we’re already invested in seeing what new mysteries are lurking around the Arconia. The last time we ran into our favorite trio of residents Charles, Mabel and Oliver (Steve Martin, Selena Gomez and Martin Short), they were busy celebrating the fact they discovered fellow building resident Tim Kono (Julian Cihi)‘s killer. But the party stops there, as the new season gets them deep in yet another investigation of a similar vein. This time though, they aren’t just looking for suspects — they’re are suspects.

We’re not about to get into specifics about what’s happening in season 2. But we need to discuss a major theme seen throughout the entire series. As dedicated fans know, Charles, Oliver and Mabel clue people into their whereabouts by way of a podcast the three created, titled “Only Murders in the Building.”

In the season 2 premiere episode, Amy Schumer (yes, the real-life comedienne playing a dramatized version of herself) stops Oliver in the Arconia elevator to try and get the rights to it. Though Amy doesn’t get exactly what she wants (her idea for the podcast was to turn it into a TV show — a bit on the nose), her presence did lead us to wonder something. Given how the show is fueled by a podcast and we see the trio recording throughout both seasons, is there somewhere we can listen to the actual audio footage used in the show? The answer may just put you on high alert.

Does Only Murders in the Building have an actual podcast?

While Only Murders in the Building does pride itself on incorporating a podcast into every single episode, there is sadly no real-life place to listen to the actors reading the script from the show. But producers did do something fun for their fans. They not only created a podcast, but hosts Elizabeth Keener and Kevin Lawn take listeners on a wild ride through the TV making process.
